Scanning Using the WIA Driver (Windows XP/Vista/seven/8 Only)
This section describes how to browse documents with the WIA commuter.
You tin can specify detailed settings for each browse.
Scanning from the [Scanner and Photographic camera Magician] dialog box (Windows XP but)

Place documents.

Select a picture type.

Click [Custom settings] to make detailed settings in the [Properties] dialog box.

Specify the scanning area.
If you selected [Flatbed] as the paper source:
Click [Preview], and then elevate [
] to specify the scanning area.
If you selected [Certificate Feeder] as the newspaper source:
Select a document size from the drop-downwards carte.

Click [Next].

Specify a proper name, file format, and location for saving the group of pictures.
Select one of the post-obit file formats.

Scanning starts.

Commencement [Windows Live Photo Gallery] (or [Windows Photo Gallery]).
For [Windows Live Photograph Gallery]:
From the [Start] menu, select [All Programs] -> [Windows Live] -> [Windows Alive Photo Gallery].
For [Windows Photo Gallery]:

Click [Adapt the quality of the scanned pic] equally needed.
The [Advanced Properties] dialog box appears.

Adjust the quality of the image, and and so click [OK].

Specify the scanning area.
If you selected [Flatbed] as the paper source:
Click [Preview] and drag [
] to specify the scanning surface area.
If yous selected [Document Feeder] as the paper source:
Select a certificate size from the drop-down menu.
